entirely too much daydreaming, wot wot

Apr 05, 2009 20:40

My computer ought to be here tomorrow afternoon! Oh dear, I'm beginning to get giddy. (Beginning? All right, I'm beginning to get excessively giddy. There is definitely literal, physical flailing going on.) I am daydreaming about it entirely too much -- when I am trying to sleep, I usually run over bits of stories in my head, and the same scenes ( Read more... )

i have my own fun, geekery, i am making plans, computer, the astonishing adventures of me, the evangeline story, tuesday skyline, squee!

Ooh, did you get that from Borders? I remember seeing an adorable owl notebook there (along with a bunch of other matching things that made my obsessive compulsive disorder coo with pleasure).

Technically Waldenbooks, as that's where I work, but yes! It was only six dollars, and less with my employee discount, so even though I don't really need a new notebook, I couldn't resist. Owls! And polka dots! We have a larger notebook and an address book, too, and I'd go for the address book except that there's an even spiffinger one with birdcages and Art Deco font... :D

This post makes me ridiculously, ridiculously happy. -grins-

(& Ian & Tuesday!!!! &hearts -flails- I miss them.)

I keep having these flash-dreams of being in law school and having constant internet access and sneaking on in the middle of books and classes and piles of homework to downloaddownloaddownload things like S4&S5 of House, and all of Buffy, and Battlestar Galactica, which I am LONGING to see, and watching them with the pleasing guilt brought on only by procrastination from Important Things instead of the creeping horrible feeling of oh god, I have nothing else to do with my life so I suppose I shall watch all this telly and distract myself.

Hee!

(I miss Ian and Tuesday too, because I haven't written them in a long time, and they haven't done or told me anything particularly new in a while. I'm trying to figure out what is harder to write: historical fiction set in a country to which I have never been, or convincing adult lives and work in the city. I mean, taxes! And things! I HAVE NO IDEA. :p)

Ahhh, I have to watch House, too! Sarah and Hannah have been watching it and enthusing over it and I've seen a couple of episodes with them and kind of adored it. Poor Yvaine, she's going to be scolding me about telly very soon, I'm sure. (Also I SHOULD NOT think about any other television which might be nifty. NOOOO. *plugs ears*)

And it's HERE YAY. (FYI you will want to disable user account control because it's freaking annoying--you might remember my recent Vista-hate on Twitter after dealing with Kelsey's laptop--although I forget how I did that.) Heh, I kind of thought I'd do lots of things like that when I got my own computer, but...not so much. Just lots of random internetting.

Random: don't you have this shirt too? I got it for myself a while ago and I heart it. You should bring it up here so we can...match, or something, I dunno.

BUT WON'T IT BREAK MY HEART AND THEN EAT IT? Oh wait, never mind, it wouldn't be television if it didn't do that.
