My laptop just crashed. Am deeply, deeply cranky. Calling the computer repair guy in the morning; if he cannot fix it in time for Doctor Who I may cry. I have: downloaded Firefox, iTunes, Picasa, Music Rescue, Last.fm, Gtalk, WinRAR, and a something-or-other that I needed to play .avi files; installed Roller Coaster Tycoon, ArcSoft PhotoStudio, Microsoft Works, and Flash; recovered all of my files from the half-dead computer; extracted everything from my iPod; and changed numerous settings so that ( Read more... )

I was flailing all of yesterday, and woke up early this morning -- well, drifted to a shore of semi-wakefullness -- and thought, oh dear, my computer's coming to-day! and squirmed in delight underneath the bedclothes. Dear me, it seems that I forgot to let you lot know that I wasn't sick anymore. My apologies.
