My sleeping at night has been disrupted by a combination of the flu and more than that - the bedroom is too razzedfracking cold to sleep in!

I hope you are feeling better now and that things are getting figured out.
It really sounds like a lack of insulation/serious heat leaking *somewhere*.
Maybe light a candle in the room near the wall to outside and find where the leak is?

We did the paper test to the old fashioned arir vents. We are hardpressed to know it they are simply decorative remnants of an old oil system or if they are serving a cold air return function. So for this evening we are testing the theory by closing them and seeing if that helps. through this experiment we discovered that the upstairs bathroom has no heat source at all. *boggles mind* Why do people build additions rather than properly supply needed details to the existing space? *g'argh*

Is it just sinus, or is it chest congestion too? I get Mucinex tablets OTC, that's 400mg of guifenisen. If you use the mucinex -- make sure to drink water until you think you are going to float. The mucinex helps get the gunk out of my chest so it doesn't turn into something worse.
