[translation] Inoo Sakubun 2015.4.15

Apr 22, 2015 09:06

Aaand now I'm up to date~ Here's the Inoo Sakubun from last Wednesday (Daiki's birthday)! He updated two days in a row (and hasn't updated since XD) last week, but this one's pretty short. The occasion is pretty obvious but… anyway, enjoy XD;

You can read the previous issues here:
2015.4.7
2015.4.14

Translator's note: Inoo has a really particular way of writing J-web (pretty similarly to the way he talks; I don't know how noticeable it is to non-Japanese speakers, but he slurs his words together and uses a lot of slang); he doesn't use very much punctuation, uses a lot of slang, and generally doesn't write very 'formally.' I've done my best to capture the feeling of that here, but I'm not a professional translator or anything of the sort, so I'm sorry it's a bit rough around the edges!

Inoo Kei's short-term central serialization.
From a uniquely 'Inoo' point of view, he'll share various information about his activities and current state, as well as behind-the-scenes stories!

April 15th

To Arioka Dai-chan:

If you're not Arioka Dai-chan, please don't read this.

Thanks for your cooperation.*

Happy birthday Dai-chan

I guess you're probably feeling anxious that I haven't given you any birthday wishes yet, but

This year, I tried a new experiment and wished you happy birthday not through mail or over the phone, but through JWeb.

Becuase you're Dai-chan, you must be reading my serialization page, right? If you don't react at all, I'll know you didn't read it, and frankly, the way I think about you will change, you know

Dai-chaaaan you're already 24 years old, times two that's 48 years old, you know lol

Sorry I turned down your lunch invitation that other day

At any rate, happy birthday!!

Did you think there'd be something here if you scrolled down?
There's no~thing here, yo**

Notes
* I left in his original spacing, but it loses some of its impact on most computer moniters XD Since JWeb can only be read on a phone, the spaces pretty effectively make it so that the reader has to scroll down a lot before they can read what's written.

** Like in the previous Inoo Sakubun, I left in the "yo" that was written out in English letters. He's such a weirdo. XD;

In other news, only one week until I'm going to see 'Karafuto Ojian'! I have to admit that I'm a bit nervous about how depressing a play about the earthquake might be, but I'm really excited to see Ino-chan's first starring role ♥
