[It's getting late, and Kallen's just leaning against the railing of an empty balcony, looking out over the city. She looks a little down, but might not mind some company.]

[ .. Peony's got a knack for just kind of being there. Coming up beside her, he leans his arms onto the railing as well; instead of looking down, he's looking up into the sky. ]

Makes me miss the stars, sometimes.

[She wasn't expecting company, so jumps a little when Peony's just suddenly there. Usually she's a lot better at noticing other peoples' presence, but tonight she's just kind of...off. She glances up at him for a minute before following his gaze.]

Yeah. [Pauses.] I haven't seen you around in a while.

[ilupig]

Aah, yeah, I've been pretty swamped lately. [ Sighing, he grins ruefully. ]

You're out here all alone? No one to keep you company?

[She offers him a small smile.] I wouldn't say there's no one.

[yuushie]

[ Tired and bandaged, he sighs lightly as he leans on the same railing, a little ways away, nodding a greeting to Kallen before looking out. ]

[Oh, she recognizes him...from that first day she was here. A little embarrassing, but maybe he's forgotten how they met.

She takes in his appearance, eyebrows raising slightly.] You okay?

[yuushie]

Hmm? [ He looks at his bandages, then back at her. He hasn't forgotten their meeting, but he's just as happy to pretend it never happened. ] Ah, I'm fine. Just a bit of trouble earlier.

"A bit of trouble"? I'm guessing you've had that looked at, at least, if you're bandaged...
