I took the day off yesterday, so I could meet with Linda the Volunteer Coordinator with Amenity Hospice to talk about the newsletter I will be taking over, and also so I could call my mom to discuss funeral arrangement stuff. I figured it'd be easiest if I just took a day of vacation, and then I could do some other stuff, too

I think, technically, they're called "plastic drywall anchors". But I just call them "those plastic thingys you use to make screws stay in drywall".

that works for me, although we're using them as things to keep screws in plaster. I need a more generic term for them. ;-)
