David and I had a date last night. except, it was all out of order.

first off, I got home earlier than usual (that is, at 5:50 instead of 6:05). and it was a gorgeous day. we started out the day with a storm as I drove to the van, complete with hail. but then it turned into a beautiful afternoon, and I had to decide how to spend it ( Read more... )

Dude! I have many, many fond memories of Cork 'n' Fork. Mmmm. (And of course, I went to school across the street from the Dairy Queen, so it's not like I ever went there or anything.)

we both tried something new yesterday. David got one of their ciabatta sandwiches, which would have been good if the sauce wasn't so darned salty. I got a Rachel, which is the Reuben but with turkey instead of corned beef.

both sandwiches were good and it's occasionally nice to have a break from the usual, but... next time we're gettin' burgers! =D
