Well, I'm done. I've carved the knife and the patera, and I have no white wash, so that will have to wait. I think if I paint with something more modern the stone will choke and spall if water gets under the paint, I know this from experience at Levisham. I will also need some Red Ochre or similar pigment to blend with the white wash to pic out the

I'll get there, I just need white wash to paint the stone and some red pigment to hi-light the inscription and decoration.
