I will be at the SCA event, Steirbach Holiday Faire, in Virginia.  i am likely trying to save money by day tripping it (ick) so make sure you let me know if you want anything specific brought down. This is a huge shopping event, with loads of merchants and a good opportunity to get holiday presents.  i hear they have  other SCA related stuff...like

I'll be the preggo slowly waddling her way through, probably with a blonde 8 year old attachment. I just have to figure out what I can still WEAR of my garb :-P. Or make something real quick. Which has potential ;-)

Advice on getting pregnant? Tab A into Slot B is the general approach.
Oh, and having health insurance first and throughout is generally A Good Thing.

health insurance, yes. very good. kicks in in three months.
tab A into slot B. after 20 years? i think i got that part....

the difficulty is getting me not to miscarry after about 4 weeks... :( the last time i had a no good doctor who didnt even tell me the hormones were high enough to say 'pregnant" and low enough to be BAD since i was supposedly 4 weeks along, it should have been higher. if i had known that ten, we may have been able to do something...

There will be Heavy, Rapier, Archery and Thrown Weapons as well. Something for everybody. Also there might be Youth Rapier activities as well.

Well, I guess we're on opposite schedules this year. I'll be going to Philcon because this year is the 20th anniversary of my first Philcon ever. And then my high school reunion is opposite Darkover (and I've already paid for Darkover...). Oh, well....
