Grrr...if she read what you posted then she should know that it wasn't finished - that was VERY clear. I'm hoping that is what happened as opposed to someone having printed the letter off and sent it. Can you ask her to send you a copy of what she has? If someone actually sent it then they needed to have modified it a little to take out your extra text and if that's the case there is no knowing what else was changed.

yes i tried to ASK her if she would please go to my Lj because i didnt know what had been changed. since i didnt send it! she said she "had seen it" so >shrug< i am confused.

like i said. it started with "the letter you sent me" and ended with "your blog, or whatever"

but as i also am pointing out... i was answering my phone within two minutes of driving out to see my parents, i had just gotten to their apartment.. hardly a good situation for a clear communication!
i think my LJ was extremely clear on it being "not yet ready for publication" so i am very confused.

thats why i dont post anything i wont stand up and say to someone's face.
everything i posted was true, but was also.... not phrased as i would like. some of it was irrelevent, etc.

they do not communicate well, thats for sure. either she thinks *I* mailed her something... or someone pointed her at my blog, which was NOT sent, and was stated as being rough draft, not what i am sending out.
either way, its puzzling

oh i know nothing online is ever really private. even a friends filter is.... hopeful? wishful thinking? whatever....

partly i am confused by whether she got a letter she thought i sent (as she initially said) or read my blog. or both.. or what???? because i never sent her ANYTHING... i wasnt ready to. so if she thought she got something FROM ME.. she didnt, and someone lied to her. if she wasnt sent anything she thought was from me, then either she really doesnt communicate well, or she lied to me. pretty much a continuation of the WTF??? situation, ans the lack of communication that has plagued this entire event.

hopefully it will get cleared up.

i know, WTF?
i am also confused. if she was reading my blog, she KNOS i didnt send her anything, as i was still drafting a letter.... if she got emailed something, as she said, that she thought was from me. why wounot go to my blog?

Considering how easy it is to forward messages, it isn't terribly surprising that this happens quite frequently. A couple of years ago, someone took it upon themselves to stir up trouble by taking something out of context that I had written in my own journal and forwarding that to someone they knew would be offended by it. Nothing came of it other than a brief email exchange in which the forwarder came off looking stupid in the eyes of the now-un-offended person.

At any rate, your experience is at best a grevious breach of ettiquette on the part of your "helpful friend". Sometimes people do it just to stir up trouble.

like i said. at this point i am really confused. i have no clear idea if she read the blog, or if she got something forwarded??? or what?? and if it was forwarded, i wonder what it said. because its easy to edit stuff.

i doubt it was a friend. probably someone searching for settlement references or something

if this chic from the school was reading your blog, how DARE she telephone you about it??
i realize that the line between public and private is almost non-existant on line, but still .. .

well, as i said..... she STARTED the conversation with "about the letter you sent me".... so i really do not know if she read my blog, or what she got sent.
but when i tried to direct her to my blog to read the thing AS I WROTE IT. she said she "had seen it" so i am really confused.

if she honestly thought i mailed her, or emailed her, something. then heck yes she has business calling.
if she read the blog ONLY. that is, got pointed at my blog... she should have known it was not sent... so i wonder if she assumed the email was the *result* of the discussion online???

i dont know, i hope to be able to figure it ouut
