That sucks! I'm sorry the letter or blog info got to them before you were ready to have it read. :( I hope the letter brings a happy resolve.

hopefully. like i said.. given how confused the whole communication thing has been..... i have to agree with what my dad said
ok, now you know. every single thing to the school has to be in writing.

its not like "fabric dragon' isnt on all my business cards, my checks, and my email..... so its not like this blog cant be traced to me >grin< plus the fact that my legal name is in my bio....
so i assume anyone who wanted to could look me up.

as i said previously.. i am pretty well a "non closet" person, my life is pretty public... if i post it, and it isnt labeled "humor" or "sarcasm" or something, i MEAN it. but in this case i am well aware that angry hurt people do not think well. which is why i wanted to check.....

i will grant you that one.
i still am waiting to see what the lady says in her print communication. DID someone send her my letter, claiming to be from me? or did she just say that after being pointed at my blog????

That is so weird. I'd definitely want some clarification as to where, exactly (and how, but that may be impossible), she got the copy of your letter. Was it emailed? Mailed? Linked? If she can't be clear about her terminology, I'd be worried that miscommunication is SOP for that organisation.

based on my experiences. and some comments from others... PLUS this phone call... i have to concur with dad.
"get it in writing"
also, obviously. my phone calls were not being recorded correctly unless the one receptionist got them.

likewise, did she get a letter she thought was from me? or not? i cannot be sure
i have, also at various times been told conflicting things about policy
"no, you dont need proof it was work related" "we usually require proof"

Wow. There have been a lot of entries over the years that I have NOT posted because I knew that if evenone person saw them, that they might well become completely public. However, someone somehow contacting the school and doing this is really over the top.

The school is being most unprofessional about this. Unless there is some very good reason for what is going on here, you need a complete apology, because it looks very much like this outfit is going outof its way to make things difficult, when they should be trying to sort the mess out for you.

Stinks.

I agree with all the rest of these posters ----

WTF ??

How would this woman even know about your journal??

Maybe time to purge the friends list if someone here actually sent that.

Hopefully you will get your refund and can quickly leave this whole thing behind.

My best......

as i said. at this point? i think their communications are pretty messed up. i have no idea if someone pointed her at my blog, or emailed her, or what... because she said "you sent me" and then said she had read my blog....

personally i suspect settlement just googles itself or something.
