Miracles can occur. someone showed up this morning at the restaurant and said they found it. i dont know who..
i dont know if they ACTUALLY found it, or if they felt guilty, or what.. and you know? i dont care.

I am sorry to hear of this. An idea you may wish to consider is to get a carpenter's apron; essentially a belt of pockets that is tied TO you, For shows. That way you will be able to keep it on you no matter what you're doing. I just hope that it shows up, by some miracle.

we used to use the carpenters aprons at busy shows. still do DURING shows, but they have a sad problem of having money fall out if i sit down, or lean over. so at the end of the show the money goes in the cash box anyway.

mind you last time we did that was when i used the metal box, but still....

sadly it wouldnt have been ON me at dinner.

i hope, dearly, that it does show up. but i doubt it.

we had our entire safe stolen once from the bookstore when we were all in the front working- the safe was in the back room. they just came in and lifted up and took it. insane.
