first of all, don't expect to ever read anything positive about being unhealthily thin here. The goal is HEALTHY at whatever weight that happens to be.

while i won't say vanity has NO role in my ideas of health , fitness, and weight, its really about getting my knees to stop hurting, and my energy levels up to where they should be.

non fat cottage cheese is actually a healthy choice - instead of chips, maybe mix in some fruit.

OK, I have to put this in terms of what works for me, because I'm not a nutritionist, and I don't even play one on TV.

I don't "diet". If I even think about trying, I end up gaining weight, knocking my blood sugar and vitamins out of whack, and aggravating my IBS, too, my visceral reaction to the concept is so negative.

What I have done is work on what and when I eat. I feel a lot healthier, and I am having less energy swings ( ... )
