i sort of did, by posting i am asking all of you to keep an eye on me i guess.
hubby is at work, then doctor, until he gets home maybe 7pm? its 3 ish now..... if i keep improving at the rate i am, i may be fully ok by the time he gets home.
the cats are trying, but they cant do much.. my typing is off because one cat has my arm busy.... the dog has decided that i need to sit here, so he has blockaded my chair.
i figure i will brave the stairs again in a few and get more food/drink
i had some vague idea that going to sleep might be a bad idea..... but lay down anyway. bad mistake, i tell you, i thought i was going to throw up. vertigo in the extreme.
so, i am being evry sleepy and tired, and quite wobbly, but improving... and sitting up at the computer
lucky for me, i cannot fall asleep sitting up unless i am UTTERLY exhausted.
it would be nice to go to sleep, but that one try convcned me that liyng down is not a good idea
After hitting your head, if you have any head-injury symptoms at all, you should go to the doctor. Because by the time you realize you actually need to go to the doctor, the injury could have been complicated by the delay. See http://familydoctor.org/online/famdocen/home/common/brain/head/084.html for symptoms.
Regardless of whether or not you go to the doctor, a head-injury symptom that is often missed is a runny nose. If you get a runny nose in the next week or so, get it checked out bu a doctor. People often disregard this symptom, blaming it on a change in the whether or allergies. It's important not to ignore it. And if yo do get it checked emphasize that your nose started running after you hit your head pretty hard.
I hope it's just a bump and that you feel better soon.
I hope it's simply a bump but if you can, do get it checked out ASAP. Just in case. Once your husband comes home, tell him what happened as he should keep an eye on you.
