for people observng Lent...

Ok,  Lent begins Wednesday (Ash Wednesday).... anyone doing anything in specific? Giving things up? taking on duties?

I am trying to make, and set aside, 3 Knotted Rosaries a day to donate to Rosary Army and/or the military.....thats 120 over the 40 days of Lent if my numbers are right....
this is in addition to any i make to give out locally.

it is improving so not broken. just painful.
yeah, hand injuries are no fun. and its always my right hand. sigh

I hope your hand isn't broken. That would be annoying! (The cat damaged my wrist last week - one of the physio's thinks he might have put his claw into the joint capsule so it is a bit swollen).

its not.. its improving, just really sore. so bruised, not broken.
i have weak fingers so i sadly know the symptoms

cat claw? owwwwwwwwww those babies are dirty also. make sure you get antibiotics if they need it.

oh no--I hope it's not broken. I haven't decided what to give up or do for lent--mom has decided to give up chocolate. I guess i only have a few hours to figure it out.

still hurts, but movement is increasing. so just bruised.

i am leaning toward soda.... but boy talk about a bad start.. i just had a can of it..... yes this is 5 mumble am. cant sleep.

years ago. i wasnt observing Lent, but a friend was... she decided to give up alcohol for Lent..... unknown to her her boyfriend (both of them in the SCA) had just taken up brewing....
