its pretty obvious he was someone's cat.  once.  the neighbors around here are evil, and they have a habit of letting their unfixed cats out .. when they think the kittens are "old enough" or they start getting underfoot.. or the kids get bored, they get

Wish you luck finding the cat a home. Last night I was worried about the black cat that lives on our street. (I suspect that she is pregnant, as well.) Her owner was out of town for the night, so her son came by to check on the cats because our city has had problems around Halloween. Local pet stores refuse to allow black cats to be adopted at Halloween without a background check to prevent animal cruelty. Shelters often are inundated with them post-Halloween once the novelty wears off

Good luck with the cat. I wish I could help out by buying something, but we still have to watch our budget as we don't yet know when Blaise will be starting his new job. I'm sorry to hear that your neighborhood is so icky. Too many people think animals (and some other people) can be thrown away and treated like garbage.

well, it would be better if this one went to another home, even though i adore him... just because we are so crowded. i also know two spayed front declawed (ick) female kitties who need homes......
