new cat, car troubles, sale
ummm..... you see there has been this half starved cat on our porch for the last two weeks.....
its pretty obvious he was someone's cat. once. the neighbors around here are evil, and they have a habit of letting their unfixed cats out .. when they think the kittens are "old enough" or they start getting underfoot.. or the kids get bored, they get kicked out in the cold. This is how we got almost all of our cats... except the little guy who was thrown out a car window on our street, and the orphan kitten we bottle fed.....
when i first saw this little guy, he had all his ribs showing....
anyway he is a dilute orange tabby, a sort of cream color.. so i was calling him "that creamsicle" and whouseknecht is calling him Frosty.
i was afraid to leave him outside during Halloween and etc, as we already have proof how bad the neighborhood is...so we took him to the spca vet clinIc and once he tested clean of FIV and Fe-luk we got him his shots and set him up in quarantine in the basement. we really shouldn't have another cat, so if anyone needs a sweet little boy cat in their life, he is up for adoption... otherwise i guess we will have to keep him.
as to why we couldn't leave him outside? well aside from how this neighborhood treats their pets, we have neighbors who breed fighting dogs, and kids who would hurt a stray cat for kicks....
did i mention we had our car tires slashed? yup, someone took a knife to two of our tires. we really cant afford this. its pretty bad to go out to try to deliver a corset to someone and find you have to replace your car tires.
so..... anyone want to buy yarn? or better yet, buy some Denise Interchangeble Knitting Needle kits? corsets? Pearls? Beads?
