You know, I really like your James. That was pre-Lily/James right?

I especially liked this bit:

Something about it was very appealing but I'm not sure why. Lily acknowledging what sort of affect James had on her and doubting herself is something that isn't show enough in Lily-centric fics. It's always about Lily being so sure of her decisions and everything like some sort of logic goddess XP

James is flattered that you're taken with him. ;) And yes, it's pre James/Lily. I sort of meant for this to be the turning point in the way that Lily thinks of James--seeing that he can be sensible and slowly realizing that he's not an egotistical prat.

And I'm not so embarrassed, but you know...wanking. I feel like I just violated Snape's privacy. Ha.

Both of the fics are wonderful. I liked how you described Lily's slight change of mind about James - a tiny shift in her perceptions, but with huge consequences. On the other hand, as the rabid S/L shipper I am, I can't help but see a lot of melancholy in it - she is about to give up on Severus... the same Severus that can't sleep at night because he's thinking of her in the following fic ;-D And don't worry about the smut (ish) side of it - it's handled very tastefully and, what the heck, it's a teenage boy we are talking about... it's *implied* that a lot of wanking would be going on!

Thanks for reading! You've hit the nail on the head with the James/Lily one. I was sad for Snape too; it's just one more thing he can be bitter at James about. It's an ever growing list, it seems.

And the second one wasn't that smutty, but the Severus in my head doesn't like his privacy invaded, and I could feel him peering down his nose at me as I wrote it. LOL He needs some action every once in awhile...even when it's with himself.
