First week of college over! Well, I suppose it doesn't really count, since it was just orientation. I'm excited for REAL school, though - I've got my schedule, the upperclassmen have been streaming in all weekend, and I bought all of ONE of my books.... haaa

-Buy off Amazon used - super cheap.
-www.chegg.com rents text books by semester, also for MUCH CHEAPER than bookstore prices.
These days I only purchase books I know that are relevant to me/my major/i would want to keep. Also, your library should have the text books available and you can just check them in/out as you need them.

I transferred, so my new college actually rents books, which is nice. I should really get them soon, since I've got my schedule and whatnot.
Printers are touchy little buggers. :/ It takes me a while, sometimes, to install hardware like that, but I don't think I had to call anyone for help yet. Luckily I'm pretty good at installing things. That doesn't mean they last, though. orz
