Poor River. I'm sure she's mentally face/palming.

Oh, totally. The big brain sometimes means her mouth runs away with itself.

There is so much emotion in this fic; more than in any of your others that I have read (or at the very least, an entirely different kind of emotion). It's so warm and fuzzy and beautiful. Nona's love for Jayne - for her whole family - makes me sniffle a little.

Jayne is different around his family. I like trying to reconcile the two different men. I'm certainly not one of those fangirls who wishes Jayne were a different/better man, but everyone plays many roles in their life and I really enjoy seeing this role of his.

And I'm really curious to see how the rest of the crew are going to react when they arrive for that dinner. If Simon thought he was going mad in the mudder town, his skull quite possibly might explode.

Ah, you're catching the difference in point of view. River thinks more. She also notes emotions and other people's thoughts. Useful.

Differing life roles is one of my big philosophies. I've observed so many in myself.

I love that you wrote so much. Are you working on a cliche piece?

I'm... er... not :(

I just don't seem to have the energy or motivation (confidence?) to write, anymore. I just sort of wish the few ideas I do have in my head would write themselves.

I do try to be a good reviewer in the community to make up for my lack of contributing, though :)

Follow your own heart when it comes to writing. (or not writing)

*hug* You are a good reviewer.

Arg... Now I have the uncontrollable urge to crochet something.

I would kill for that much yarn.

More soon. Flexibility can be disconcerting.

?

Foot in mouth. Are we working on the same definition of disconcerting? I have:

causing somebody to feel uneasy: making somebody feel ill at ease, slightly confused, or taken aback

I understand that it is horribly bad edicate to demand that an author write more. Some react quite badly to this. So I appologize before hand.

WRITE MORE!!!

I seriously love this story. It's so sweet and... guh. I don't remember who commented on it at the moment, but you really do win for most creative Jayne backstory.

Everyone always pleads with me to write more. *Sigh* the burdens of authorship. *wipes fevered brow*

The Jayne backstory simmered in my brain for the longest time. Then one day it just flowed out the end of my pen. *shrug*

The hardest thing has been to limit Nona's Mary Sue tendencies. (Not that I want to be Jayne's mother)
