Oslo is an expensive city, but there are many museums worth visiting, especially if you're interested in the history of Norway, vikings, and so on. There are also many nice cities and villages outside Oslo, including the Oslo fjord, lots of forests, islands and and beautiful nature. It all depends on the season (winter, summer, spring or autumn?), as well as your plans. Personally I think Oslo centre itself is not the most exciting place, and I definitely recommend going to nearby towns as well, just to see more.
Other cities worth visiting is Bergen, Trondheim, Ålesund, Longyearbyen (Svalbard), Stavanger, Bodø/Lofoten Islands, and different smaller cities and villages in the south, west and north of Norway. Wait for my post, you'll get plenty more advice! :)

As for Valaam and Kizhi, they both look awesome in the photos! Kizhi kind of reminds me of a Norwegian stave church (wooden architecture with decorations), but with Russian cupolas/domes (купол)... Valaam looks gorgeous, although I am not sure if I will have the time to visit them now in February, but I will try. If not, I will visit them in the warmer months, with Pavlovsk and Oranienbaum-Lomonosov.
Thanks for your advice, I appreciate it very much:) I absolutely love Russian architecture!!!
