T'was the weekend after Christmas...

Dec 27, 2008 21:18

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Ours was really nice, even though it was pretty busy. Hubby, Baby Dogs, and I were pretty pooped by the time things wound down for us Thursday evening.

Even so, I braved the after-Christmas shopping crowd Friday, and scored some pretty gift wrap, and gift bags at 50% off. w00t!! I had decided that it was ( Read more... )

LOL..that sounds exhausting. I guess you got some pretty good deals at the mall. I went back today to return...arg...too crowded. Funny part was when I was there before Christmas. Not much of a crowd at all. I think they were all there when I wasn't. Ships passing in the night.

Enjoy your Lost DVD (is jealous) I only have the first two seasons.

50% off Christmas stuff is always a good thing in my book. :)

I've got some returns that I'm going to wait to take back after New Years. I don't dare try before then!

I've been fortunate enough to get every season of Lost. I'm hopelessly addicted!

I hear you on the 40* fluctuations. It's crazy. Hope you feel better after relaxing for a bit. *hugs*

You too? I don't know how anyone can stay healthy - or sane - when it's in the 70s one day and the 30s the next!

Thank you hon. *hugs back*

I still have half of my decorations that were never put up. Time slipped by so quickly. I'm in no hurry to take the few down which are up.

I'm glad you had a good Christmas.

Our almost 70F weather today bottomed out suddenly. I'm not sure if we've hit 30F yet but the winds are howling at about 40mph from weather graphics and the news I've seen. A little freezing rain tonight is possible. Where's the snow?

Time did slip by quickly this year, for me too.

I hope you had a good Christmas too.

We've been swinging from 30s to 70s to 30s again. Very confusing!

You're describing the weather here. You aren't in MO or IL are you? I don't see a state on your profile.

No, I'm further south - I'm leery of putting specific personal info on my LJ - but from what I understand, the weird fronts (with the crazy temp changes) were sweeping east across most of the central US.

It was a good Christmas all around.

We had a White Christmas with snow on the ground. Lately, we have snow one day, sun the next. We've been bouncing around from frigid sub-zero wind chills to temps close to 70°, too.

I've been loving the bright pink, blue, and chartreuse decorations I've seen around. So pretty!

I'm glad to hear you had a good Christmas.

We haven't gotten snow yet, but freezing rain and ice, which is much worse. Snow I love! Sounds like your weather is about like ours.

Those are attracting my eye too! I saw a white tree with those color decorations on display, and I thought it was gorgeous!
