[It's been about two days since Joshua's rather... awkward arrival. Since then, he's been busy familiarizing himself with Luceti and getting settled in, keeping an eye out for his belongings all the while. Locating his clothes, weapons and orbment fortunately didn't take long - as it turned out, all of them were scattered throughout the various

But because he does want to listen to it, he'll go ahead and send a shadow up to go talk with Joshua. Not that the boy is likely to know the difference unless he needs to make a quick exit.
It won't be hard to notice the presence nearby. While Leonhardt is trying to remain out of sight until the song ends, he unconsciously started humming along to it, and since he knows the whole melody, that will continue after Joshua stops playing.]

Of course, since he's - unbeknownst to him - only playing the first part of the song, that means it won't take long until he finishes it, and once he does...]

While he will be glancing in the direction of the sound, he won't say anything just yet, instead opting to simply listen quietly for now, attempting to memorize the melody in the process.
...It really is strange just how familiar this sounds - and how well it matches up with his own song. Estelle did often note that something seemed to be missing from it... Maybe she was right about that after all.]

There is no need to stop because I'm here. I merely came to let you know that I could hear it over the device.

It's a song I learned a long time ago. It's called "The Whereabouts of Light." [Come to think of it, he doesn't remember when or where he learned it - only that it was sometime before Cassius took him in. But it's one of the few things that have always been with him... maybe that's why playing it feels almost nostalgic to him.]

I believe it's intended to lead someone to the light. [That's his opinion, at least. Whether it really is what the one who wrote it intended or not, though, that he isn't quite sure about.]

After several minutes of huddling under a tree and attempting to rationalize everything, she's finally decided that with no explanation in sight, this must be a dream. What else could it be? And with that in mind, she dusts herself off and starts walking, picking a direction and aimlessly working her way through the woods. Perhaps it's luck, but eventually as she's making her way out of the woods, she catches the sound of music on the wind, and with it being the only sign of anyone at this hour, she follows it to what looks like an apartment building. Now the sound is coming from.... above?]H... hello? Is ( ... )

If Rui's looking up to the roof of the building, she might just notice a black-haired boy looking down not long after the sound of music ceases, scanning the area for the source of the voice he just heard. It won't take him long to spot here, but he's not going to speak up just yet - rather, he's waiting to see if she'll say something again, if only to confirm that she was the one he just heard.]

E-excuse me? Do you know where this is...?

...Time to see if he's already familiar enough with this place to help her out. Even if the Bracer Guild isn't actually represented here, he still has a duty to fulfill, after all.]
Actually, I do. Just a moment, I'll come down and explain. [His voice is calm and reassuring as he speaks, but as soon as he's done speaking, he'll pick up his journal, then head inside and down the stairs.
He'll be at the building's entrance in a few minutes. It's probably better to explain this when there aren't eight floors of a building between them, right?]

How lovely.

It won't take long until the song resumes again, though. But with it being relatively short, that means he'll finish playing it soon - if Saber plans to say anything else, that may be a good time to do so.]

Pardon my interruption- you're a very good player.

Don't worry about it. [He doesn't really mind.] And thank you.
[He didn't mean for the journal to broadcast him playing, but it's not as if he minds anyone listening. As long as they have no qualms with him playing at this hour, it's fine, right?]

It won't take long until he resumes playing - and after finishing the rather short song, he'll repeat it one more time, as if to heed Yui's sleep-muttered request.]

that's good misser teddy-san. Engi likes it too...

He's done playing now, but... He'll leave the journal open for just a little longer. Just in case the person on the other side does end up waking up. But if Yui remains asleep... maybe he'll simply leave her be.]
