I'm in total agreeance with you about children being made to be vegan/vegetarian just because their parents are. I'd never to do that to my child, or my family for that matter, just because I am. I haven't done the research you have, but I can imagine it's detrimental for young, growing children whose bodies are still rapidly developing.

Btw, I understand your reasoning in your other post and I'm not mad or holding anything agaisnt you. I was gone over the summer and last semester I was so wrapped up with finishing school that I lost touch with a lot of people. But I've been hanging around the downtown Lafayette bars much more often now (mostly Chumley's and Knickerbocker). Which bar do you work at?
