My application for transferring to The Cooper Union was sent yesterday. Andrew will now stop nagging me about it. good luck w/ cooper union! did you apply during your HS applications also? i had the same problem with mason gross, I felt i didn't belong since my style is very classic. instead i got discouraged and now I'm applying to rutgers college, get some liberal arts degree. my main deal is portraiture and i figure I can go on and do that myself without dumping 10's of 1,000s of k's into it. i just felt very stifled there..

what do you intend to major in?
i applied my senior year but it was horrible. I had never taken any formal art classes and had no idea what they expected of me. That, and I had to rehearse for a play 4 hours everyday after school during my winter break while housetraining a puppy. I was very time constrained. I've matured very much as an artist even though I'm still a very silly girl. ;)

Saw your journal while poking around in comments on the Rutgers community. Just figured I'd wish you the best of luck with your transfer. I hope it goes well.
