My application for transferring to The Cooper Union was sent yesterday. Andrew will now stop nagging me about it. I don't really belong here at Rutgers, I'm too skilled and destined for greater things. Whether I get in this year, or one of the years after is no consequence. I'll be in Greenwich Village, the heart of the art world in my dream school. Hopefully this summer I'll intern with this Broadway Set Designer I still need to contact. I will be a coffee-bitch at first, but I will be the *best* coffee bitch ever.
It's a good feeling knowing that I'm going places and that I have talent. Other people aren't nearly as lucky and I truly am thankful for my gift. Right now my three options are set design, fine artist gallery work, or art therapy. The first two would give me amazing recognition and fame, but "fame is fleeting. passion is life." And celebrity isn't as amazing as it first seems. I know I won't be a starving artist. I paint too well, too fast and have received offers for paintings around 5-10k. UNFORTUNATELY--I CAN"T SELL THEM!
I need these paintings for my portfolio for Cooper Union and have to have every work that is presented in a slide or photograph on hand for up-close examination. It's the Cooper Union and they can do what they damn well please as the #1 school in the nation for *anything.* So as for now I am living off of mummy and daddy. The only store I'd ever work in would be an art one and I'd probably spend all my money on supplies if I was surrounded by expensive goodies 24/7.
In Short: Application's out.
Hometest will be administered around February/March. (hopefully not spring break, please not!)
I am a hungry girl.
My roommate is home sick for a few days--JOY!

if, god forbid I don't get in this year I'll try again next year. Free tuition and the most reknowned reputation has the silly effect of doing that to me. lol. I'll probably transfer to Cook and live in the Newells. So sad that I'm not 21 yet. It doesn't really matter because I'm not a drinker at all, but I would *love* a Rockoff apartment. Right across from Mason Gross!? I wouldn't have to wake up 35-2 hours(seminar) before class.

If I do stick around I will definitely get a horse though.Probably an Arabian or ex-racehorse Thoroughbred. I love hotbreeds and streamlined bodies. That's one of the few perks of staying. That and well, Andrew. Funny, that I'll be by *his* home, and he'll be by *my* home for school. This summer that'll probably be the case as well.

Okay, time to finish my final project, contact someone about a gift, and make some brownies. Life is wonderful.Things have a funny way of working out.:)
