So bittersweet that Martha's motherly love attracts Lois and repels Lois, comforts Lois and hurts Lois all at the same time. Just gorgeous. <3

Hah! We'll see how well my brain understands the physics.

I think it must be difficult for Lois to accept motherly love, having lost her own mother when she was very young and apparently never having had any kind of mother or elder female figure in her life until she met Martha. It's all very new to her.
