The term "interfacing with a clack" sounds vaguely obscene.

Indeed. If I didn't know better, I would suspect Lezard of some involvement.

I don't know what a clack is either, but mine seems to think it can be used for my shopping.

In what way? I doubt that it would hold more than a gram of tea.

It seems to think clacks can be asked to send shopping straight to my house.

Then it conjectured on what I would need to buy and would not shut up.

If you dislike it, I will take it.

You can have mine too. Consider it an early birthday gift.

Considering that throwing it from an island seems to have no effect, I am unsure that giving it away will prove any easier.

Isn't that considered attempted littering, Admin-man? For shame!

[Har har har...that was joke see? See? ...He's so getting ignored isn't he. :|

Fuck Socializing: How does it work?]

I didn't think it would be easy but hey, worth a shot.

You don't know what a clack is? The clacks are a communication device--they're towers, and they code whatever message you've got and send it along the tower till it is where you need it to be. Quite useful, in the end.

Unlike this blasted thing. I dropped mine in the privy, but it came back. It even came back when I dropped it off the island.

Why?

Reply

stonyfaced September 6 2010, 00:52:46 UTC
Because it wouldn't shut up.

[She doesn't write anything in reply. CAN YOU FEEL HER DISAPPROVAL, STONEFACE?! IT'S PROBABLY RADIATING THROUGH THE PAGE RIGHT NOW

or you know

not. But she'll still drop by in an unsuccessful attempt to rescue the Gooseberry.]

I wrapped mine in a sweater and locked it in a drawer. It seems to mute it a little.

If giving it away fails to prove a permanent solution, I may attempt something similar.

Even the cats have no interest in it.

My dog keeps barking at it, and the strange thing is it started to bark back.

Thankfully it seems to lack the ability to mimic cat noises.

I will continue to hope that the same applies to Toushi. One is quite enough.
