The only thing I will say is that when I first listened to "Summertime" I was like, uhhhh really? AND THEN I ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THE LYRICS. AN THEN I ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THE LYRICS. It is basically Gerard's love song to Lyn-Z. It's a fucking ODE to the Summer of the Projekt Rev tour. Do you remember when they were doing the whole "let me write shit on my arm/face/neck" shenanigans where they corresponded to each other? This is a line from the song:
you can write it on your arm/you can run away with me any time you want
I CANNOT FIND THE PICTURES BUT THERE WAS ONE TIME WHERE GERARD HAD "RUN AWAY WITH ME" WRITTEN ON HIMSELF, AND LYN-Z HAD "ANY TIME YOU WANT" WRITTEN ON HERSELF.
Realizing this is Gerard being a HUGE FUCKING ROMANTIC SAP is just...disgustingly endearing to me. I am seriously vomiting rainbows over here. HOW SO IN LOVE, WAYS??? ♥_________♥
