Yesterday was pretttttty fantastic, and I'm going to tell you why!

I woke up epically, ridiculously sore. Like, difficult to lift myself out of bed sore. That's not the fantastic part! The fantastic part is that I'm sore because of indoor soccer and every time I think of that it makes me smile. :D

which is literally 200 enormous glossy pages of photographs of MY BOYS dressed up as old 40s crime drama film characters. SERIOUSLY. THERE ARE HATS AND SUITS AND OLD MERCEDES AND PIANOS AND CAKES AND PILLOW FIGHTS AND POOLS! STRIPPING IN POOLS!

I KNOW RIGHT. You can look at a making-of video (including PILLOW FIGHTS AND POOLS OMG) at this post (the comments are FILLED with gifs, it's delightful. There are 256 comments! I'm blown away!) and a small selection of the photos here and here. It seriously looks like the most unf-worthy book OF ALL TIME EVER. I want it desperately but I'm not sure I can spare the $55. SO I JUST PLACED MY ORDER. Who ever said I was supposed to have self control? I'm 22 and have a salary! I will be impulsive if I want dammit!

Oh no my dear, we are talking far more hipster! The coffee shop is Lab, which opened in March on Liberty across from Dawn Treader. It sells the Chicago coffee brand Intelligentsia and is far and away my favorite place in Ann Arbor. :D Right next door is the Tomukun noodle bar, which is a cozy Asian fusion place and it's SOOOO TASTY. Om nom nom nom nom. I imagine I will be spending a lot of time at both places, hee! You should definitely check them out if you haven't!

I PLACED MY ORDER FOR DIE SPIELER TODAY. I HAVE NO SELF-CONTROL.

...we could have a viewing-and-squealing party if you wanted? :D?

uh yeah, I spent most of march preparing for my finals and trying super hard to get an A on a german project. It made for very few trips out for food. But yes, I'll definitely check them out!

UM. YES PLEASE.
Only it will have to wait until early September because I'm living at home for the summer. I'll be back in A2 by the 4th though! Hello first game of the season, get here now please because I'd like to pregame asap. just sayin'.

Hee, that's okay! Lab is just so wonderful, all light wood and huge windows and so much sunlight. The boy I'm dating has longish brown hair and is quite tall, you'd recognize him right away if he was your barista. :) And one of the owners (Toby) is German! He's delightful! Basically everyone is awesome. Oh yeah and the frozen yogurt is FANTASTIC!! Fruit flavors (like lychee! om nom nom) with a fresh fruit and cereal toppings bar. Looove.

...I think they should pay me to advertise, hahaha.

Ooh, okay! We will plan on it! :D And oh man, GIMME MORE GERMANS NOW WORLD, PLEASE. I'm kind of excited to have a fellow mannschaft fan in A2, ngl. :D

SCIENCE WORKING OUT AND A NEW BOYYY (can I just say that I love you for always giving guys a chance? I also love you because you're amazing, but yeah. I admire that about you!) AND SHVEINSHTEIGAAAAAH. THIS POST IS FULL OF AWESOME.

I walked around my house for a couple of days all "SHVEINSHTEIGAAAH. Bastian SHVEINSHTEIGAAAH!" and now my dad lolz every time I say it. And he felt the need to inform me that there was something about him in the paper today. He called Basti my new friend, lololol. I've also become quite fond of Poldi's face in the last couple of weeks. IDEK. *hands*

RAY RAY APPROVES. And he'd most definitely make an inappropriate comment about you being sore!
