Yesterday was pretttttty fantastic, and I'm going to tell you why!

1. I woke up epically, ridiculously sore. Like, difficult to lift myself out of bed sore. That's not the fantastic part! The fantastic part is that I'm sore because of indoor soccer and every time I think of that it makes me smile. :D
   
2. SCIENCE!!!!1!!!1!11 Science totally WORKED for me

I have the Strenesse book from four years ago and OMG it is so pretty! Whyyyyyyy must they always be so expensive though? :(

Oh my god, the '06 Strenesse shoot. I love the new one but there is something just so CLASSY about the '06 shots. (Or maybe I'm just a sucker for Timo in a white suit...) The one thing I haven't seen from what's out there on the Internet are solo Lahm shots, which make me sad. Were there any?

I know what you mean! The new shots look great, but the '06 shots were just so...simple? BUT SO GOOD. ♥
I don't think there were any Lahm shots at all, solo or otherwise? I can't quite remember why, but could it be he wasn't considered a definite part of the squad when the pics where taken (early '06?)?. I really have no idea......

Actually, now that I think about it, that was right around when he was injured (I still can't believe he was wearing a cast while scoring the opening goal against Costa Rica!) so that would make sense.

I'm glad things are working out for you! I finally got the kick in the pants I needed to work to make my own life stop sucking quite so hard, and it'll hopefully translate into something.

Your Die Spieler posts have been the highlight of my life right now, gotta say. *flails* "Come on Basti, come on Basti~" And loewsmiserables is just an amazing, fantastic place. I love that people are trying to keep it alive despite the lull between now and their friendly.

HEE, I'm so glad! They've apparently improved many lives, which makes me happy. :) My inbox has never been so thoroughly and continuously flooded before! All I can say is thank god for Gmail threading!

I think NONE of us are ready to let go of our boys just yet. Who cares if they're not playing at this exact moment in time? :) I'm sure we'll drift away for a bit during club season, but the love will stay strong!

THE WAY HIS VOICE GOES UP ON "FASHION" KILLS ME WITH GLEE. KILLS. ME. OMG. AND THE WAY HE PLOPS THE HAT ONTO HIS HEAD AND OVER HIS EYES. BASTI BE MORE CUTE I DAAAARE YOU. I love the whole sequence because he starts to seriously say "this is fashion!" and then he LAUGHS AT HIMSELF and decides to make it campy! BASTIAN. BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER. p.s. also I want a fic where basti is bastian from the neverending story!!!! I haven't read the book and haven't seen the movie in forever, but JUST THE IDEA OF IT makes me happy. :(
