I had a lovely relaxing day with Colin today. I spent the night last night and then we didnt emerge from his room until, um, 4 PM. Yeah. We watched Heroes when we woke up, and his VLC is set to repeat, so the episode replayed uh, 3 more times before we were, hmm, unoccupied. Haha, yeah. Anyway! Very relaxing day ( Read more... )

The phrase "Tabula Rasa" actually means disambiguation, or "blank slate". It's a philosophical concept, actually, that states when human beings are born, they have no built-in mental "content", so to speak: All knowledge comes from experiences in life. We learned about it in philosophy last year. I think it's a really interesting concept. Not entirely sure if I buy into it, but interesting, nonetheless. But yeah, that's most-likely why the eps both had something to do with memory loss/amnesia.

I love Wiki.

P.S. I was waiting for your thoughts on "Bedtime Stories" and was so happy to hear that you liked it!

P.P.S. You & Colin = adorable.

Hee, I knew what Tabula Rasa meant! I just thought it was fun that the episodes shared titles, and that the writers took the same nifty concept to describe the same wacky sci fi idea. I agree that it's a fascinating idea. :)

Bedtime Stories was wonderful! It might be my favorite so far this season :)

Aww shucks darlin, thanks, hehe

The writers' strike has been on my mind, but I didn't think anyone on my f-list cared! Obviously, I support their right to strike. I'm just bummed about The Daily Show. That was the first show I heard was definitely going off the air, and it's one of my favorites. Scripted shows have enough scripts piled up that they can continue to make episodes, but if the strike continues, the scripts are going to run out eventually and THEN things will get seriously fucked.

Does anyone have any more information that might make me feel a bit better?

Uh, well, "Razor" was totally awesome. And that's all I'm gonna say about that. But it helped me feel a little better! :)

I really wish I had your eloquence while writing episode reviews! :D With me, it's just 'OMG BEST EPISODE EVER DLKFJSLKDJFLSDJFLSDKJFLKSD!!!ONE ONE!!!'

Anyway. I heard about the Writer's Guild strike thing but I don't really know much about it. I think most of my favorite shows are safe, for now, since I'm pretty sure most of the seasons are already shot.

TV SQUEE! I think Monica is starting to grow on me too! At first I found her more than a little annoying, but no more! AND OMGZ MOHINDER, ILU. And... I think it's pretty obvious that's Jessica, yes.

Travelers was... really bad. HATED alien chick. Not enough Rodney! AND ENOUGH WITH SHEPPARD AND RANDOM ALIEN CHICKS, WE HAVEN'T HAD THAT FOR ABOUT A SEASON AND A HALF, I THOUGHT WE WERE PAST THAT ALREADY. Sheesh.

Hehe, the 'Where's McKay' comment totally made up for the lack of McShep in the ep, even though it was still AWESOME without it!

Dude, on a scale of 1 to 10 for long comments, that was like... a 4.6. Not even. RAMBLE ON, WOMAN! I want to hear your ramblyness! I am so much more longwinded than you it's not even funny :D

Heeee. I always knew I wanted to snag myself a geek :D

Tabula Rasa has become my second favourite ep of S4 after Doppelganger! It was SO VERY KICKASS. :D It was oddly Battle Royale-esque in a way, I think.

I think it's funny that there's a Buffy episode of the same name ALSO about the main characters losing their memories. That one was played up for far more hilarity though ("Randy Giles? Why didn't you just name me Horny Giles, or Desperate For A Shag Giles?" AHAHAHA) while this felt dark and intense. I LOVED IT.

AHAHAHA, I LOVED THAT EP WHEN IT AIRED. It makes me miss Buffy. & AH, I LOVE THAT SPIKE QUOTE. :D
