UGH isn't Fight Club the best?? It's a really broad category to pick a fav. but Fight Club is definitely in the running for my #1. There's SO much I love about that movie. Such a raw philosophy on life, so many things that are true whether people accept it or not. It bugs me when people pass the movie off as "gorey fighting" As is said, if you want someone to listen you can't just tap them on the shoulder anymore. It's such an amazing medium to explain that point of view. Palahnuik? Genius.

Plus? Brad at his fitest *______* who can deny that?!

And YES! I love rewatching and catching all the hints to the twist! The one I never noticed until I listened to the commentary: when Tyler and Jack get in that crash, Tyler pulls Jack out of the driver seat, when they Tyler was the one "driving". Awesome stuff! What an amazing movie to compliment the book.

Yes yes, it's such a brilliant movie. It says a lot of things about today's society, about the generations that have been desensitized and disconnected by their cultural immersion in vapid advertisements, stuck in a life with no meaning. "Our Great War is a spiritual one. Our Great Depression is our lives." *flail!* So amazing.

And um. Brad - shirt = me on the floor in a puddle. Holy crap.

I thought I heard this awhile ago, but I guess at the time it didn't mean much because I didn't watch... now it totally does! Jewel Staite is going to be a regular on Atlantis?? That's AWESOME! Seems like only Season 4 or have you seen her on there yet? I can't wait to see her on that show, that's just all kinds of fandom-crossover goodness!

Jewel Staite is indeed going to be on Atlantis! She's been in one episode so far, kind of as an introduction, but yep she's going to be around a lot in S4 :) She did part of the SGA skit on the Spacey awards, she was so cute. What a great addition to our lovely gang! :D

You've seen Troy right? An otherwise only okay movie, but it gets vaulted into actual goodness for the amount of Brad's chest you get to see. Plus, omg, he's so cut in it. By comparison, he looks pretty scrawny in Fight Club.

I have not! I think I have to put that on my to-watch list now. Because nngh. I feel like I might prefer his Fight Club build because I generally like lean and spare guys without too much muscle, but I also don't think I will particularly MIND a buff, half naked Brad *grins* Thanks for the heads up!

Well, brad is still on the "lean" side for Troy -- the heavierness has more to do w/ a) him being a tad older and then also b) the exercise regimen they were put through for the movie. He's definitely not of "body building" buffness in Troy....more like gymnast buffness.
