Purpose: To teach physical education to those who desperately need it
Location: Athletic Field
Time: Mid-afternoon on Wednesday, May 13th
Warnings: A crabby penguin yelling at everyone

Summary: Coach Wilkes decides to start off his class with some jogging exercises.

Ougi was rightfully surprised upon seeing the teacher he was supposed to assist seemed to be a penguin. Still, he appeared to be serious, and there'd been plenty of bizarre things on this trip, so he decided not to question that yet. Even so, it was still a bit awkward to approach him.

"Excuse me, sir. I'm Ougi Kaname, the person chosen to be your assistant. I'm ready to do what's needed... although you look like you have the situation very much under control."

Wilkes lifted his head, giving Ougi a bit of a stink eye and judging him quite harshly. To him, the 'aide' he was assigned was a giant wimp that needed to get toughened up. So, he was basically a little weakling.

"'Course I got in control, boy." snapped the coach irritably. "Yer the one that needs to do whatever I want ya to!"

Beat did not like being talked to like that. Not one bit, especially not by something that couldn't be real. But he was trying to behave himself, and as Rhyme always said, patience is a virtue. "...What, yo?"

That had been a long fifty seven laps. Rukia thought that it was a strange kind of training; what use would being able to run that long do? Well... stamina was good, of course, but in her chosen field it'd be better to know how to shunpo, or give a boost of spirit energy to your speed to make you incredibly fast, around a field fifty seven times. She didn't want to show that off, here, though. So she had just ran.

It was easier to do if she remembered being chased. Yes. Much easier.

But now that it was all over with, she was tired and all but plopped into the grass all spread-eagle and gross feeling.

"Why is grass never as soft as it looks??" she complains as she reaches to scratch her back.

Kanji had pretty much tired himself out, perhaps for good. The class was... very intense, at least compared to what he was used to back home.

When he decided to sit down and rest from all the running, he was close to a girl who had been speaking and thought it might be good to respond.

"Yeah, ain't that the truth? Makes me not wanna sit on it sometimes."

Rukia was too tired to scoff at someone interrupting her, but she figured she had said that aloud in public anyways, so she shoots a weak glare over to the other kids's direction before deciding hey, this couldn't be too bad.

"But you don't know until after you sit and then you're too tired to get back up. Stupid laps."
