Mika held the transporter device in her hand, understanding what it was for, kinda, but a little skeptical about the mission.

"What's the big deal? All we have to do is run around in there until we find the store, right?" She spoke out, basically to anyone who would listen.

"Mazes are tricky, though." Botan pointed out, walking up beside Mika with a small, silver metal briefcase.

"If we wander too far, then we won't be able to finish. We have to keep going in roughly the right direction"

Mika made a bit of a face. Maybe she wasn't taking this seriously enough? "I guess you're right."

"You make it sound like this is nothing new. Have you done something like this before?"

Entering the maze with Kukaku, Ned wrapped his coat around his narrow shoulders tighter. The wind whipped fiercely around the corners of the maze, so it was best he kept as warm as he could.

Squinting ahead, he began walking down the alleyway. "It can't be as big as it looks." he reasoned aloud.

"This is why I live out in the middle of nowhere." Kukaku huffed against the wind. "Out in the middle of nowhere, you can see where everything is."

She really wasn't dressed for the weather. She sort of wished she had the cape she kept stuffed in the back of her closet, but even that was sort of uncomfortable. Oh well. All the reason to find this store sooner.

Seeing Kukaku shiver against the wind, Ned acquiesced to remove his jacket, passing it over. It was a shame, Yuri had his good overcoat, but Ned was still hoping to get that back at some point.

"Take it, I'm not cold." He lied through his teeth. Chivalry taught him to both a) treat women with kindness, and b) treat his elders with respect.
