In the Plaza

Mika held the transporter device in her hand, understanding what it was for, kinda, but a little skeptical about the mission.

"What's the big deal? All we have to do is run around in there until we find the store, right?" She spoke out, basically to anyone who would listen.

"Mazes are tricky, though." Botan pointed out, walking up beside Mika with a small, silver metal briefcase.

"If we wander too far, then we won't be able to finish. We have to keep going in roughly the right direction"

Mika made a bit of a face. Maybe she wasn't taking this seriously enough? "I guess you're right."

"You make it sound like this is nothing new. Have you done something like this before?"

"Not even a little bit!" Botan smiles
"I've been in things like hedge mazes before, but this seems a lot more complicated! Though I have things that I think may help!"
Botan smiled, patting her briefcase.
"But I'll show you those after we start!"

She developed a slight smirk. "Let's go in together, then! If this really is some sort of mission, I want to come out on top." Her competitive streak was starting to show as she gave a thumbs up.

"The name's Mika Seido, by the way." She quickly added. "I don't think we've met."

"Ah! You're Ema's gift partner, then. I'm Botan."
Botan smiled cheerfully.
"Pleased to meet you!"

"Yeah, that's right." She was reminded about how she still needed to get Ema a present. There was plenty of time for that later, though.

She started walking towards the maze gate. "I wonder how long this will take?"

Botan walked along beside her, swinging the case back and forth.

"Probably a fair amount of time. But I don't really have anything better to do, so it doesn't bother me!"

"Might as well get started, then." Mika put her hands on her hips. "I'm ready to go whenever you are."

"I say we go for it! Right now!"
Botan smiles and points forward.

"Isn't this a computer mouse?" Ougi thought to himself out loud.

He didn't know what he was getting himself into, but had expected searching for a store would be simple enough, until now.

"Wouldn't a computer mouse have a cord attached to it?" Tohru asked the man near her. She was probably the most excited person in the group over this mission. Then again, she was an easily excitable young girl.

"You're probably right."

He stared at it, seeing that it was indeed cordless.

"Well if Conductor-san says it's a transporter, then I'll trust her.

Nodding, Tohru glanced at him. "I trust her as well. I don't think there's any reason why she would lie to us about this."

"Alright. Then why don't we go try our luck?"

Even if it would be safe, thanks to the mouse-transporter thing, it still probably wouldn't be easy. But if he and Tohru went together, it would help.
