Well, Valentine's Day. {...} had seen a fair few of those go by in his time as a zombie, and they never seemed to change-- candy he couldn't eat, love he couldn't share in, just another day of another year as one of the undead.

Loitering by a wall, {...}'s face was as blank as ever, standing stiff and unmoving. Even if he was apathetic towards the holiday itself, he liked how it was gathering people together. Something about being around people like this, happy people... it made him feel fulfilled.

"I'm not going to disagree with you there," after all, he wasted ten years just thinking about his situation. Far be it from him to claim that he hadn't spent too long mulling over his past.

Since he had been a good boy and decided to see things her way, she decided to reward him. Stealing one of the red balloons from the wall, she gave it to him. "Don't say I never gave you anything!"

Taking the balloon from Asuka, {...} felt slightly uplifted. It was a sweet gesture, and though he'd never admit it, he liked trinkets like balloons.
