Warnings: Be warned: there’s no telling who’ll pop up or what’ll happen!

Summary: Teddie and Ran are throwing a picnic for everyone on the train to relieve some restlessness...

Shrugging, she replied, "I guess I just wanted to meet with someone who was at least vaguely familiar with where I come from. A lot of people around these parts don't even have a clue as to what or where Gotham City is."

"That's true. This is pretty far out of the way, isn't it?" He seemed to be putting up a little act. "Sometimes it does pay off to visit a place like this."

Wow, he seemed to be taking the 'flaky rich boy' act a bit too far. Frowning, she folded her arms at this point. "Mr. Wayne, I did some investigating and I think we were brought here by...supernatural means. The fact you believe I'm younger and have a sibling leads me to believe that the two of us aren't even from the same plane of existance."

She seemed to be quite the young detective, didn't she? He admired this and decided to ease up on the acting. "I'm thinking the same thing. Perhaps we should check each others' sources?"

"I have a theory," began Barbara. "This isn't the first time I've been here. Around a year ago, more or less, I was brought here for a period of about four days. This seems to happen every so often. I come here, then go back to where I came from. Almost like some kind of anomaly."

"I see." He didn't entirely want to say this outright, but it was probably about time. "My experience has been similar. There's usually a big party of some sort, and a large number of people who also don't seem to know where they are."

Placing her hand against her lips, she tried think about the possibilities. "Maybe we're summoned here for a...greater reason than just attending a party. Trouble usually rears its ugly head at these things."

"I might not know too much about that, unfortunately." He replied with a dull expression. "The most trouble I get into over here involves fervid conversations with the train's conductor, who seems to have some kind of eye for me."

A giggle managed to make it through. This Bruce was pretty charming in his own way.

"Careful. You wouldn't want to lead the poor girl on."

"Especially since there seems to be a lot of suspicion on her around here." Bruce appeared to agree. "She does a fair job of fueling it herself, as well."

"Honestly, I don't think the conductor is behind this. If anything, she's just a figurehead...or a scapegoat." Getting up, she headed toward Bruce. "Either way, some of the people brought here are dangerous. If there is a purpose to our being here, then it's to help out in any way we can."

"Well then, we need some ideas on how to do that." He placed a hand on his chin to show that he was pondering. "I'm open to any you might have."

Taking a deep breath, she placed a hand against her waist. "There's something that might be useful to us. The conductor has a manifest in her possession. That might have some in-depth information about the passengers."

"That might also be difficult to get from her." Bruce seemed hesitant. "As aloof as she looks, she is very defensive about the passengers."

"Reminds me of someone else I know." She tried to hide the smirk that was forming. "But we could try taking a look at it sometime. If there's a will, there's a way."
