Does being a flame haze and contracted with a crimson lord count?

Haven't we spoken about this already, Hirai-san? Your case is fine, so there's no need to worry about anything.

Well, let me know if anyone tells you they're a King of Guze or a Tomogara, because those are mine first!

[ Yeah Shana's a little competitive about being the Burning Eyed Flame Haired Hunter. ]

Or Wilhemina's, I guess she can fight them too... have I told you about her? She was my teacher growing up, and she's here now.

....

I think you two should meet!

You could ask too, [chuckling.] but okay.

Hm, you may have mentioned someone like that in passing. Haha, I'd be happy to. Would she also be your caretaker?

Okay, first? Cold, lady. Ice cold.

I'm a bona-fide human, most of the time. We're talking nine tenths of the time or more. The rest of the time, yeah. I'm a demon.

Is this an acceptable heresy? [Sarcasm level = MAX]

Yes she's laughing now. Not the most 200% stable atm.]

Thank you for confessing. That would depend on what you do though, because keeping track of everyone would be way too much work. What's your name, and what happens to you when you have to become a demon?

Yuri. I go from being a dashing and manly six foot tall human to one of all kindsa weird-looking things. And then I usually punch in some other demon's face. If I got arms.

[And, petulance.] Can I hang up now? I'd like to hang up now.

That sounds unfortunate, Yuri-kun, but you don't sound like a very bad person. What brought it on? Were you born like that, or did something happen to you down the line?

Just a bit more, if you don't mind? [Yes you may unsure and whine all you want...]

I asked my battle-brother brother to forgive me for almost slaying him in my madness.

He embraced me, and brought me back to the light.

Well this can't really be compared, but he would do something like that, wouldn't he?]

That's all you did? Do you think that it was enough?

No. I was mad... for maybe a year. I was buried under the cathedral where I saw my brothers slay each other... and I dug out. But my wounds, mental and physical, were enough to destroy my memories of who I was. I named myself Cerberus, the wolfhound of hell ( ... )

She didn't ask for this, but it would explain why he seems to have changed, when she got undroned.

There's a long silence after. Admittedly the similarities were disturbing, but she's long since learned to keep herself in check. That scent of lavender was tempting, but her will to stay quiet was stronger.

Not out of shame or dishonor.

She simply believed that it would serve no purpose, to tell anyone her own story at this point. It's not worth anyone's time.]

How do you feel about it now, after everything?

I'm not a vampire, here or home. But some of my Personae could count as such.

I did dress like one for Halloween once, in 1st grade.

'Personae', Arisato-kun? Can you please elaborate?

That must be cute too, were pictures taken?

[Sigh.]

They're manifestations of one's personality. A "mask" for an individual to use to face hardship. In my case, they take the form of demons, gods, and legendary figures and assist me in fighting.

Yes, but they were lost after the accident.

Are those to help you through everyday life as a method to think clearly and succeed, or do you mean a literal manifestation for something more?

[Ah...] That's unfortunate; I'm sorry to hear that. Do you still dress up now, for any occasion in particular? [Yeah going to choose to not go deeper there.]

Aha, that sounds especially bad. [Her tone is sympathizing.] Do you think that it's something that you can still work on, or it just can't be helped anymore at where you are now?

It all depends on them, really. But you trying to convince a group of teenagers you're sorry for something you did that completely flipped their world is pretty trying in the first place.

At least I'm on halfway good terms with one of them.

Of course, apologies can't fix anything. Whatever you did and no matter how sorry you are, it won't change your past actions. Not being able to let go isn't good either, but... it's part of like paying for your sins, do you think? [Playing the ignorant isn't lying... She's scooted around truths all her life, she can tackle stage one........ ]

They're all here, too? That's a... strange coincidence.
