That's not a question anyone else can answer for you. In fact, the ones who try to answer it for you, or try to sell you something which might answer it, often do more harm than good, even if their intentions are honest.
But there are certainly people who can appreciate what they've got without suffering.

I am in that situation. My entire race is dead save for a handful; my holdings lost save for some hidden treasures. I will be a long time rebuilding, and some losses cannot be reclaimed.
I am game for either sort of entertainment, though I have not played the basketball before.
By the way, Armand is game to give us the cane practice swords if your Warden gives permission as well.

I will rebuild. Who knows, perhaps one day you will have an interest in being a part of that.

I went through that a few months ago myself. And I am a bit of a maniac normally. I simply...ceased functioning and became something of a puddle of ash. It was...humiliating. But it did end--it does end.
We shall sort out a distraction regardless of what your Warden says, yes?

Honestly, I still think you have something. But I'm not going to deny it's a damn hard time to live without someone that important to you.
[Even if he cheated and made himself forget, and never figured out for years why it hurt so badly.]

I was deluding myself into thinking that I could live without her. Without somebody who mattered. It-
Surprisingly though, it wasn't her I was thinking of when I wrote this.

You're never gonna live without her. Not really. She's branded herself on you ten times harder than John ever thought of doing.

You ever go to sleepaway camp?
