First Question: I've got a straightener (ceramic flat iron) and I'm looking for two things. A product to protect my hair from the heat and something to help keep the style. I've looked around but all I seem to be able to find is shampoo. Maybe I'm just blind, but if you can suggest some products I would appreciate it ( Read more... )

I bought this stuff called "straight water" or something like that... It's written in katakana and comes in a blue spray bottle. According to your entry, you're in Osaka. So if you go to MATSUMOTO KIYOSHI in Shinsaibashi shoutengai. If you exit midosuji station by Daimaru and Sogo, its the first MATSUMOTO KIYOSHI on the left side when walking towards Dotonbori. The stuff is located on the first floor, to the right of all the shampoo and crap... It's like mixed in with the hair-wax and hair styling stuff. Works for me seeing as how I flat-iron my hair every day.

Hope that helps!

I remember seeing a piercing studio in Ame Mura, near Chopstick Tattoo. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I know they're out there.

Is there something like a Don Quioxte around? In the beauty section they should have it. They sell hair irons and all, so it'd make sense to carry hair products besides shampoo and conditioner too. You can try something like an ItoYokado or a Nagasakiya. Even if you can't read all the Japanese on the labels, there should be pictures or some sort hints that will help you figure it out.

I guess you should try to see what results you get from googling something like "大阪 ピアス". You can drop by the places and see how they look before making a decision on what store to go to. Northing wrong with shopping around a bit.
