As for True Blood:

I actually really like that the show is straying from the books. I've read them all, and loved them. And while I'd love to see the books more tightly incorporated in the show, I'm also enjoying the fact that the show is really different.

I really enjoyed Franklin and Russell, too. And Talbot! They were interesting characters that helped move along the story. Like you tho, I could care less about Jason and Tara. Seriously, their story lines were boring and repetitive. Jason's story line in the books is not much better tho, and neither is Tara's so I guess there's not much to be done... IDK.

Sam's story line started out really boring for me, and then it picked up and I ended up loving it. I really wonder where they are going with it tho.

Jessica and Hoyt are just so damn cute. <3

We pretty much have the same opinions on True Blood, this season lamed up fast with the exception of a few things. Also, OMG Tricia Helfer would make the PERFECT Claudine. I was SO disappointed in the faeries and what ABall did to Hotshot >:( Boo.
