Yeah. I usually don't care about people labeling me, but I do agree with you on the labeling situation.
I do hope you won't kill me on this, but you can't really say people are "posing" or whatever, because you don't really know if they are. They could be just like you, dressing however they want to dress, just because they like it... Er... Unless they actually say, "I'm a poser!"

Anyway. I do agree with you on this 100%. I've been labeled as a "goth" or "punk" many times before and it needs to stop. But I hope you don't get yourself worked up over something as stupid as this. It's definitely not worth thinking about, especially in 10, maybe even 5 years from now.

i know what you mean with all this label crap.

but..
i know what your trying to say&point out, but your kinda labeling as well. i agree with you, labels are lame but you cant stop them. & when you say you hate goths,preps,emo kids,ravers & whatnot, remember, your labeling too. & when you say your not preppy, again your labeling. im not puttin you down or saying your wrong in anyway, but you just gotta remember that your you. let people label you all they want, your just yourself. some people look to labels as a way of life. "goths", dress the way they want to. you cant wear all black & not expect to get stared at. your gunna have to live with them& when you get older& get into other bands&music, theres even more labels you need to deal with. so just remember, be yourself. if people wanna call you a "punk rocker" let them. thats their opinion, not yours. your abby.
