"Thank you, ma'am. Whatever you might have would be just fine." Her accent is heavy and she smiles uneasily at the other woman.

"If you are thirsty, there is wine, beer, tea ... pray forgive me, mistress, but by what name may I call you?"

"The name's Marie, Marie LeBeau. And tea would be nice."

"Tea, then." She pulls on a twill bellrope, and when the serving woman enters, she requests tea to be brought for their guests. "Are any among you injured? I have some of the physician's knowledge...."

After taking a plateful, Marie moves away from the others, feeling more than a little out of place.

Nibbling on a thin slice of rare beef, she watches her fellow travellers (for lack of a better word). They're comfortable ... well, most of them are, and seem prepared to jump in with few questions.

Like how they'd end up getting out of here, once their job was done.

Namor sits close enough for conversation but far enough to give her space if she truly desires it. His plate is has some food on it but not a lot of it. He is eating some stewed vegtables of some sort. Perhaps they are beans. He seems more focused on drinking as much water as he can manage while still being polite.

"I'm sorry to hear about your wife." She's not moved any closer, and continues to watch the others.

"Thank you. I am sorry to hear about your husband." He pauses for a moment, "It is a difficult loss to bear, to lose a spouse."

The Lady Maximoff tentatively approaches the man who wears her friend's face. "Is there anything I may bring you?" she says politely.

The newcomer turns, rather surprised -- and slightly admiring -- at the woman's persistence.

"I am rather...unsettled at the moment for refreshment," he finally murmurs, scraping up his manners. "But thanks for the offer."

"You are a guest in our house," she says with quiet dignity. "The traditions of hospitality set an example I will follow, even as my forefathers and foremothers did."

The Garou chuckled softly. "A pretty way of saying that, though I'm a prick, you won't leave me to starve to death because it'd look bad. Old traditions in a raw new land."

Spidey frowns.

"I have to ride a horse."

Spoken as though he's trying to get his mind around it. Combustion engines were horrible enough, but a galloping dung machine?

"Do they still have horses where you're from? Is there any chance at all of me fooling you into thinking a donkey is a horse, or some other comical hijinx?"

"They have horses. Just not in Nueva York."

He's a scientist, not a cowboy.
