"Tea, then." She pulls on a twill bellrope, and when the serving woman enters, she requests tea to be brought for their guests. "Are any among you injured? I have some of the physician's knowledge...."
After taking a plateful, Marie moves away from the others, feeling more than a little out of place.
Nibbling on a thin slice of rare beef, she watches her fellow travellers (for lack of a better word). They're comfortable ... well, most of them are, and seem prepared to jump in with few questions.
Like how they'd end up getting out of here, once their job was done.
Namor sits close enough for conversation but far enough to give her space if she truly desires it. His plate is has some food on it but not a lot of it. He is eating some stewed vegtables of some sort. Perhaps they are beans. He seems more focused on drinking as much water as he can manage while still being polite.
"You are a guest in our house," she says with quiet dignity. "The traditions of hospitality set an example I will follow, even as my forefathers and foremothers did."
The Garou chuckled softly. "A pretty way of saying that, though I'm a prick, you won't leave me to starve to death because it'd look bad. Old traditions in a raw new land."
"Do they still have horses where you're from? Is there any chance at all of me fooling you into thinking a donkey is a horse, or some other comical hijinx?"
