I find it interesting how we conceive of heaven and hell as spacial locations, (which would make sense if we were still using a Ptolemaic cosmology) indicating the popular/widespread hermeneutical perspective of the masses, coupled with the lasting impression of Dante and Milton on the Western psyche.
