I had to give up on going to Boardmeeting 2010 because of lack of funds - I'm missing the snow already!
I saw "The Yiddish Policemen's Union" in Costco and couldn't remember where I knew that author from. Now I'm sure it's something you've mentioned. I actually thought of you when I saw the book because of the nifty bookcover design! Did the version you read have its original cover or was it "library bound"? The book I'd really like to read (that I spotted at Costco) is "New York: The Novel" by Edward Rutherfurd - or "London: The Novel" by the same. (And not only because the cover is nifty.)
