wow what was great. well done back story I like your Shaun's book it sounds cool. and I like that Larry wasn't int he fic even with all the talk about it. it fits the movie.

I really enjoyed this. I really liked your imagining of what the hell Shaun's mysterious book was about, and Zach's compulsion to sneak away and read it. And keep buying and then getting rid of copies. His mind frame at that time was surely so curious yet...too much for him to know what to do with. I love how Zach's mixed emotions are depicted. I wonder if he'll ever reveal any of this to Shaun.

Just a tiny note: Shaun's last name is Andrews. :)

Shaun's last name is identified in the DVD extras, I believe in the director/actor commentary. Interestingly, only Shaun has a declared last name; Zach's last name is a mystery. They said that in the scene where Zach goes to talk to the admissions office at CalArts, he tries out several last names, but none of them "took," so they took it out and just left his last name undeclared. So, there's been a billion last names for Zach across various fics.
