Twentieth Transformation [video/text/action for Ecruteak Pokecenter]

[Envy's video feed turns on to the sound of very loud, angry, almost frantic shouting and a good view of what seems to be an elbow.]

This isn't where I told it to take me! I can't be back here!

[The elbow, which presumably was what turned the 'Gear on, shifts to show what's going on at a tilted angle. Looks like Envy has woken up from that coma,

[France had caught the video while on a short break at work and, in the fashion of a whirlwind (or maybe an unstable torpedo), had excused himself for the rest of the day. He's not entirely sure he gave a good excuse--he actually doesn't remember what it was--, but he must have looked desperate and upset enough to make it convincing.]

[He runs to the Pokemon Center as quickly as he could after changing out of costume, bypassing the nurse and going to the room he'd visited every night for the past week. He doesn't even bother knocking, throwing the door open and staring around wildly.]

Envy! You're awake? What's going on?

[By the time France arrives, Envy isn't thrashing anymore. But he is still struggling weakly to get up, and glaring at the ever-patient Chimera. There's blood on the hand he'd been trying to hit the Tyranitar with. When France bursts in, he startles, looking wary, and then his eyes widen slightly and he grips at the sheets.]

I went home. [His voice is hoarse from all the yelling, and to him it feels almost like someone else is speaking.]

[France's eyes flick over Envy's body and face, around the room and at Chimera, and then back again. He blinks owlishly at Envy's answer, mouth forming into an "O"; he remembers the conversation that they had had in the tree not so long ago. France nudges the door closed again with his heel, moving to pull a chair over to the bed and sitting down, watching Envy carefully.]

What happened?

[Chimera notes that Envy has stopped struggling, and lets go to stand up fully. He still looks like he's ready to hold Envy down again if necessary though.]

[Envy's quiet for a long moment; he's still halfway processing just being back in Johto. He looks down at his uninjured hand, letting it twist in the blankets instead of looking at France; there are still a few vestiges of that anger from before in his expression, but he's holding it back.]

A lot happened. [Severe understatement.] It's been almost a year.

[China jumped in his seat when he heard all the sudden volume coming from his gear. He snatched it from his belt and looked into it to find Envy flailing about.]

E-Envy?!

[Once he recovers from his shock.] I-It's alright now, you're awake, no one can hurt you now-- [Then he hears more.]

Go back where?

[China won't get a reply for an hour or two. Envy's sitting up in bed and at least looks calmer. But China might notice small signs of tension and anger underneath the mask, although it's not directed at him, and an odd distance in place of the normal friendliness Envy showed China before.]

I wasn't worried about being hurt, I was just in the middle of something important back home when this place decided to drag me back.

[He pauses at the question, a little more of that unstable anger showing through and then slipping back into hiding under the calm facade.] To the Gate.

[During that time, China continued to call Envy, but to no avail. He can definitely see the difference in the other's expression.]

The Gate? But I thought you were trying to avoid like you did back in the dream, unless... you had a reason to confront it, aru?

This time was different. I found out there was something on the other side, some other world.

[His face darkens noticeably.] There was someone on the other side I've been looking for for a long time.

Hold on a sec! How the hell do you know HIM?!

[Ed won't get a reply for an hour or two. But when Envy does show up on the video screen, the first thing he does is start laughing, and it isn't a friendly sound.]

Well wouldn't you like to know, Edward?

Yeah, I would. What the hell was he doing around you?!

Oh, he hasn't been around me. If he had been, killing him would be much easier.

[He'd been in another room but is very, very quick to come running when he hears Envy's voice. He skids to a halt right next to him and attempts to grab his arm and keep it down, preventing him from punching Chimera. You can't do that Envy, come on.]

[His voice is pretty harsh when he opens it, glaring hard at Envy as he does.]

Stop that, what the hell is your problem?! Cut it out!

[Fortunately, Envy punching Chimera is about the equivalent of attacking a brick wall with a feather. Still though, the Tyranitar looks grateful when Tulio comes in to help. Envy is not so grateful. In fact, he's going to be continuing to struggle to get his arm loose from Tulio's grip, and attempting to twist enough to kick at him. Even if it connects, it still isn't particularly strong though.]

Let go of me you stupid human!

[Apologies later, fit throwing time is now. It could be worse, he could be punching craters in the floor.]

No-- Calm the hell down!

[Not strong at all, but the fact that he does manage a kick makes Tulio angry, and he grips Envy's arm tighter and reaches over to try to hold him down by the shoulder with his other hand, getting a bit more weight behind the action as he draws one leg up on the bed and leans down over him, glare still firmly in place.]

[Envy arches his back and tries to twist free, glaring back, but there's really no way he can get out from under the grip of both Chimera and Tulio. He'd used up a lot of what little energy he has in that kick.]
