Exchange Bingo Reviewer and Sock Awards Nominations
Howdy Playas, Lurkers and Poll-lovers,
If you haven't noticed, we're doing things a bit differently this year.
Early Bird bingos, one-time games, extra time to Review All the Gifties, and now, the Awards.
Wouldn't it be nice, we mods said to ourselves, if we could nominate a fantastic reviewer or sock as soon as we saw it, instead of trying to remember them all months later?
It would, we replied.
Wouldn't it be nice, we mods said to ourselves, if we could nominate as many reviewers or socks as we would like, whenever we'd like?

You may fill it out as many times as you would like, with as many nominations as you would like.
The form will ask for the following information:
Your LJ/blog/archive name
Your email address
Who are you nominating (reviewer(s), sock(s), both)
Favorite Reviewer nominations will ask for
Reviewer Name
Link to review that inspired nomination
Do you have any comments you'd like to share about this reviewer?
(form provides room for up to five nominations at a time - no rankings)
How do you find the inspiring review location?
Look at that review's comment box. Directly under the reviewer's name is a time stamp.

Click on that, and the review’s location will be displayed in your browser’s address bar. Cut and paste that info into your nomination form.

Category (Best Dressed, Most Original, Wittiest)

The most eloquent reviewers.
The ones that make you laugh or stop and think.
The ones that become amusingly involved in the story.
The reviewers that really know how to shake their pom pons and squee with the best of them.
In short, nominate a reviewer for standing out from the pack in whatever way you like. For example, one reviewer often makes icons for author/artist. That's just above and beyond. It makes her special, and she stands out because of it.
Sock Puppet Categories
Best Dressed: sock is tailored to suit gift and enhances the gift experience (or however you'd like to interpret this category).
Most Original: sock is creative. It may have an unusual name or icon (or however you'd like to interpret this category).
Wittiest: sock is verbose or has a way with words. It's quick with a quip or comeback (or however you'd like to interpret this category).
Please be aware that some sock puppets are used by multiple participants - be sure to include the correct/specific story link for your nomination.
