The Surprise Mini-Rounds!
Not sure you can keep up with reviews? Want to play bingo but you feel you have nothing to offer? Need more excitement than mere bingo cards can bring?
YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR
THE EXCHANGE BINGO SUPER SURPRISING MINI-ROUNDS
What are the Exchange Bingo super surprising Mini-Rounds, you ask?
Why, the Exchange Bingo super surprising Mini-Rounds WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
A super surprising Mini-Round will be announced every two weeks during the ss/hg exchange.
If you choose to meet the super surprising Mini-Round challenge, you will leave a review on every entry posted over two weeks. Art? Review. One-Shots? Review. Two-Parters? Review. Review. Multi-chaptered Epics? A review for each chapter/entry of the story.
Then, at/before the end of the two weeks, you will post a list of the direct review links as a comment to that Round's announcement entry. There will be a grace period of two days to do so (example: the review round is December 3 - 14, you post your list by Midnight EST (New York, USA) December 16).
The list(s) will be verified, and a winner selected by lottery. Winning announcement(s) will be made no later than three days after that particular mini-round has closed. The winner will receive a spiffy banner, the Queen of Reviews throne (imaginary) for two weeks, and a special prize.
You may choose to participate in as few or as many super surprising Mini-Rounds as you like. It’s a great way to keep up with the Exchange and your Bingo cards, if you’re playing those too.
You do NOT have to sign up for cards to play in any or all mini-rounds.
But wouldn't it be nice to make your work pay off twice?
In order to qualify for Queen of Reviews lotteries/prizes, you must turn in completed forms by the due date.
However, you may still achieve Goddess of Reviews status by turning in all completed forms by posting of Reveals (usually two weeks after the final story posts - date TBA).
The EB mods entreat you to turn in forms as you complete them, for their sanities' sake.
Goddess of Reviews Participants (those who complete every Mini-Round) will be eligible for Super Dooper Special Prizes at the end of the Exchange.

(Please note round two is three weeks to accommodate holiday festivities)
If fic entries totaling more than 100k are posted on the Friday before the Review Forms are due, the submission due date will be extended 24 hours per 50k.
Example: three stories equaling 110k are posted on September 30. Review Forms will be due Monday, October 3 Midnight EST (New York, USA). Two stories equaling 230k would result in a Wednesday due date, etc. The next Mini Round will still start on the scheduled Monday.
